Manufacturers of “Dependable” Envelopes™
Dependable quality. Dependable service. Dependable, since 1970!
Celebrating Our Past. Looking Toward Our Future.
It all started with an observation, an idea and a whole lot of family support. Southland Envelope Company began in March 1970 as a family business venture. Frank, along with his wife, son and two daughters opened Southland Envelope Company in a small building in La Mesa, California, with nothing more than a few pieces of machinery and the determination to succeed.
Southland’s quality products and superior service caused demand to skyrocket almost instantly. So much so that the company had to relocate to a larger facility in 1971 to accommodate additional machinery and staff. And again in 1979. And again in 2000.
Today, Southland Envelope Company serves all of the Western U.S., producing numerous sizes, types and styles of envelopes.
We’ve earned our reputation as a leader in the envelope manufacturing industry. We’re extremely proud of our history, but we’re more focused on our future than ever before.
